So Kevin, what roles entails being an office assistant? I am the face of the Mwatate Sub County office. Everyone who walks in has to meet me. I also ensure that all supplies in the office are available at all times and am ready to assist.

So, tell me, what was your first job? I worked as a construction worker in Mombasa immediately after high school. How was it? It was hard….really hard…. “especially ile part ya kukoroga simiti. That was the worst!!”
You have worked for just under one year so far. How has your experience been? I love dealing with clients and helping around. I truly love my job.
What quality would you need as an Office assistant? You need to be hard working, independent and you need to work with minimal supervision. I am sure that these are the qualities i have that makes me good at my job.

In life, who is your role model? Salim. He is the brother to my sister in law. I remember he once told me wise words regarding the world of work. He insisted that when we ever get employed, we should develop a great work ethic and work with your whole heart. Those words carry me through to date.
Your favorite meal – I love Githeri. Made in a specific way with the ingredients being “mahindi, maharagwe, nduma, viazi pamoja na carrots plus cabbage.”
Your favorite getaway spot within the County – Funny thing is that i have never been to Vuria Hill. I would love to go there soonest possible.
Your dream holiday destination. – I would love to go to the United States of America. More specifically, to see the Statue of Liberty.
